My mother recently had a 24-day stay at Sterling to rehab from a fall. This difficult time was made much easier by EVERY member of staff. From the first day to the last, excellent care was given by truly dedicated people. We were kept informed of treatments and activities and all of our questions or concerns were addressed thoroughly. I highly recommend this facility!

Never ever choose this place for rehab. From my 2 week experience I can’t believe this place is allowed to operate. Administration is incompetent and care is poor. I went there to rehab after serious back surgery. I was still in great pain. It took them 3 days to get my pain meds. I was trying to transfer to another place, which is controlled by the “case manager”. I tried to meet with her for 4 days, even elevating my request to the facility manager - nothing, crickets. I even tried to go to the case manager’s office but was told she was having lunch. The place is also severely understaffed. Some of the nurses and techs were very nice but most hated their jobs. When I went to therapy, there were often 15-20 wheelchairs with patients waiting for treatment. The gym was also very small with

I have mixed reviews of this facility, so I had to at least give it one star. My mom went in for rehab after a surgery and spent several months there. If you or your loved one is fortunate enough to go for a short stint of rehab, and you are placed in the 300 unit, you are in good hands. My mother loved them! The nurses and aids were great as far as I could see, under the watchful eye of Ashley, head nurse of that unit. Any time I asked for something for my mom, I had it immediately. Ashley saw to that. The aids took very good care of Mom and the therapies are top notch. Especially Amy in speech, who gave Mom the best of care and attention. Had Mom been released from that unit, it would have been a win-win. Unfortunately, my mom ran out of Medicare days and that is when the nightm

I can’t say enough wonderful comments about Forest Hill Sterling in Bel Air, Maryland. This rehabilitation center showed great caring, stellar skilled nursing, as well as extremely motivating physical therapy services. The staff made a life-changing difference and was able successfully discharged a bed ridden individual after only three weeks. Highly recommend Forest Hill Sterling!

My father was sent to sterling care center in Forest Hill from upper Chesapeake hospital to continue with is wound care for a cellulitis infected leg issue. Since he has been in there"care" he has been severely neglected and mistreated. His leg infection has gotten worse, he will ask for his medication such as his pain medication and be ignored or treated as a drug addict and not receive it until 2 hours or more after requesting it. He would ask for water to also be ignored and not receive any at night until around breakfast time the next morning. The morning "nurses" when family is there act like they care only to turn around and still ignore the patient yet again after voicing concerns. The "social worker" is just the same you voice your concern she'll say a bunch of pretty words and say
