Hart Heritage Estate Assisted Living

Highly recommend Hart Heritage for your loved ones. We were looking for a home, away from home for our Mother. We met with Kim Cook for a tour and absolutely felt at home there. Kim was wonderful to work with. Unfortunately, our Mother had a fall prior to moving her there. One phone call to Kim and we were assured they would find space for her, even when we learned she would be entering under hospice. I can't say enough about how accommodating and kind they were. I'm sorry our Mother wasn't able to experience living there, as we lost her before she was able to become a resident. In our hearts we knew this was the place for her

My mom has been at Hart Heritage for a year. It's hard to transition a parent from home to assisted living but the staff have been wonderful at going above and beyond to not only meet her care needs but to make her feel loved and valued. They know her preferences and the things that make her happy. They go out of their way to honor those preferences and show her love. They have exceeded my expectations in so many ways.

Both of my elderly parents have been in Hart Heritage in Forest Hills for the past 8 months. One parent was recovering from a stroke and wheelchair ridden with moderate dementia, the other is in good physical shape but was starting to show signs of dementia. Finding an assisted living facility where both could live together was no small task, most of the facilities (we looked at over a dozen): 1) didn’t offer dementia care, 2) separate my parents into different areas of their facility, dementia care or regular assisted living care or 3) would locate both in the dementia care area, which we thought was not fair to the one with only slight dementia needs. My mother has been at Hart Heritage for around a year now, and our family is very happy with the care and support mom receives here. The staff is courteous, professional, and caring. The facility is clean overall and moms room is well maintained. We always have a family member with mom at least three times a week. Mom is 91 and they treat her very well and include her in daily activities. She eats pretty good for her age. Her health is looked after by the nurses and they answer any questions we have and they show us they care. I like that they try to provide a well rounded activity for the residents, We receive a newsletter and the family is asked for any input to the both the newsletter and activities. My loved one lived at Hart Heritage for about two years. Hart Heritage is clean, well-maintained, and provided great care in a warm environment. It can be a difficult to transition to assisted living, and Hart Heritage staff are extremely attentive and patient.
