Med First Primary & Urgent Care - Swansboro

I went to an appointment with Jacqueline Cowell today to establish primary care and for once felt actually listened to. She gave solid medical advice and was never dismissive. What’s even better, is they were able to draw labs right at the facility. The front desk was incredibly professional. They send text reminders for appointments. My meds were placed to my pharmacy before I walked out the door. The schedule is easy to make appointments in a reasonable time. I am so darn glad to have finally found an amazing primary care.

Must see Deborah Boyd now! Coming I was a mess, complex and worried about how I would tackle it all with a new doc at my age. I’ve been on multiple medications due to these conditions and starting over was just a concern as they all work together to manage my life. Dr.Boyd actual was a pure angel. She took the time to listen and get my entire health care plan going immediately, sent electronic medications immediately and had numerous appointments and referrals made! All in less than 20 min or so, completely without being rushed, and at ease that God had directed me in the right place. The fear I’d been enduring vanished with her ease and comfort. I had been sick for a few days before, during and after Christmas and was hesitant to visit an urgent care facility, for fear of hours long waits. I had some difficulty trying to schedule an online appointment, but was feeling so miserable, I drove to Swansboro to try to been seen. I was greeted by a smiling, most kind and caring receptionist, a pleasant waiting room, a very reasonable wait time, a smiling and kind nurse and a wonderful, knowledgeable PA, Eddie. I was so pleasantly surprised that my holiday visit to an urgent care facility was such a positive experience. I will continue to visit this location whenever I have a health care problem. They are truly first class and extremely knowledgeable, kind and caring!

Med First primary care is the best! The doctors, the nurses, the lab techs, and the front desk people are all great. Professional and very personable. Thats a great quality to have in any profession. We moved to the Crystal Coast a couple of years ago and I was looking for a primary care physician. I'm glad I found them. 10 out of 10!

My family and I have been coming here for 8 years. I would highly recommend this office. Dr Mike (what we call him) is the most caring person with a wonderful bedside manor. The woman in that office are absolutely amazing. Professional and caring. A trait that is very hard to find these days. I am truly grateful for all of them! I highly recommend bringing yourself, and or your family.
