AFC Urgent Care Short Hills

Service was excellent! The doctor was very attentive, and that’s definitely hard to find at an urgent care. No antibiotics were prescribed to my daughter, as they often are at other places for everything and anything! I hope we don’t need to come back anytime soon but if we do, this is where we’ll go.

It was my first time visiting AFC and it was a Very great experience. Brian the NP was very knowledgeable and vigilant to my specific needs. Gave great insight and showed concerned. He answered all of my questions. I was In and out minimally waited in the waiting area and inside the room. Very thorough and everyone was super friendly. I will definitely go back if there’s ever an issue.

If I could give my experience today 10 stars I would. Let me preface this by saying I was a D1 athlete. I’ve had the displeasure of seeing more medical professionals in my lifetime than an average human being ever should. I also have an abnormally high pain tolerance. And the amount of times I’ve been dismissed, medically gaslit, ignored, talked down to, and straight up NOT HELPED is too many to count. So when I say, I had a the best possible experience one could ask for, believe me. Nobody is going to urgent care on their best day and these women get it. Check in was easy. I was actually greeted when I walked in which is becoming more and more rare these days. I was seen by 2 medical professionals (I believe both of them are nurses?) and they were both great. But I came here to write this

Great experience. I made an appointment before I got there, everyone was friendly, patient and professional. If I had to go to urgent care, this would be the location I would go to.

If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. I called ahead to ask for a vaccine for my infant, and was told it was available. I made an appointment, and drove over an hour in traffic to bring my child for the vaccine. I arrived and was then told they don't take insurance for vaccines, which is not a problem, but would have been good to know when speaking with staff the day before. I was then told they no longer had the vaccine, and that they "gave the last dose out yesterday." So, despite calling the day before to confirm and booking the appointment online, they all of a sudden didn't have the vaccine, nor the courtesy to call to cancel ahead of time. I called to speak to a manager on my way home, and received a return call shortly thereafter. The individual said there actually *was* a vaccine
