Wellstar Urgent Care

I am extremely disappointed and offended by Veronica the NP. POOR beside manner and COLDNESS ! No empathy! She treated me like I was lying and there ONLY for a work excuse. I am a fellow Wellstar nurse and have been sick for 3 weeks, when I was seen at the employee get well clinic on Tuesday my walking O2 was 87 and HR was in the 120’s. I had been fatigued and Short of breath for days while at work. I asked for a note to cover me for Friday but they could only give me three days which was until Thursday . They said if I didn’t feel better go be evaluated again. I waited until 4 pm today to go to the urgent care to see if I felt better. I just couldn’t see myself working 12 hours on the floor so I went. Veronica said to tell her why I was there. She opened my chart and proceeded to ask “

Popped in Monday nite, Dec 8th. Courteous prompt service. 5 min wait time, it was 7:25, they close @ 8. I didn't feel rushed, I was kindly checked in, assigned a room, nurse practitioner entered, professional. I shared my symptoms, she chkd vitals, at that time I was good...was only able to get in one dose of meds & my situation escalated. I had to go to the ER early the next AM. Nothing to do with this walk in clinic. They did their jobs, I had waited to late to address my need, trying to.play Dr and my symptoms worsened later. I was still able to use the med prescription and had 2 more after ER visit. I recommend this location, nurse practitioner A. Ojadi was great, the check in greeter/front desk & the assistant before Ojadi came in the room All were kind & professional!!! Highly reco

After come here for the first time with a severe headache. I was very pleased with the great customer service and help that I received starting with Ms Takesha at the front desk. Then when I got in the back it was Ms India and doctor Ajiri. Thanks again keep up the good work! 👍

Avoid this place if you value your time and your or your child’s health. This urgent care has been unprofessional and dismissive both times I brought my sick son. On the first visit, they let someone else skip ahead of us. The second, they claimed our valid insurance wasn’t showing and refused to see him, even after I proved it was active. Staff wouldn’t listen, wouldn’t help, and hid behind “understaffed” excuses. This place is disorganized, lacks patient-centered care, and leaves the community underserved. This is my first ever written review, but I feel others need to know the truth.

Listen to the reviews about not coming here we were denied service even though there wasn’t a single person in the building presumably so they could go home not to mention they charged us when we shouldn’t of been charged, also the lady at the front was extremely rude and disrespectful why have hours till 7:30 and not take patients 30 minutes before you close. Horrible experience will definitely go to piedmont urgent care moving forward and I’d recommended everyone to avoid this place if they want to go home early so bad let it close and they won’t have jobs and can be home all the time.
