I used to be a customer at the Brookline location. Ever since that location closed and I’ve had to order her it’s been terrible! They never answer the phone and you sit on hold for 30-45 minutes just to be hung up on. I can’t wait to switch pharmacies.

I loved the little Walgreens at 429 Brookline Avenue in Boston across the street from Dana Farber. It was clean and efficient and the staff made the monthly ordeal of obtaining pills and ointment as painless as possible. That place is closed and its replacement, this specialty pharmacy at 21 Stanhope St., only has workers that are stupid, malicious, or both. Nothing else could explain the treatment I received in the past two months (November 2025 - January 2026). I have been lied to (told that my prescription had been voided because of “a computer problem“ when it was actually rendered void by the improper actions of a pharmacist), told to call three days in advance, but even doing so is no guarantee that a prescription will be properly filled. It has taken me 48+ hours to fill what used

I have been entirely disappointed by this pharmacy since 429 Brookline Ave closed and I was forced to use the location here, despite being discouraged by staff to do so unless I have my non-specialty rxs filled "by my local pharmacy". My rxs and those of my husband are often unfilled, despite multiple requests through the Walgreens website and calling the pharmacy in advance to order the pickup for my multiple critical medications. The pharmacists will lie and shift blame for their failures and incompetence on their staff and equipment. The phone calls often have me on hold for more than 20 minutes.

Absolutely terrible place to get medicine filled. I used to go at the Brookline location. Since Brookline location closed, they had to transfer my meds at this location. it’s been terrible! They never answer the phone and you sit on hold for 30-45 minutes.
