My husband and I are incredibly grateful for the care we received from Dr. Maison. I suffer from hearing loss and my husband struggles with tinnitus, and from the very first visit we felt truly heard, understood, and supported. The treatment we both received was impeccable, and it was clear at every step that Dr. Maison genuinely cares about his patients as people, not just as cases. He took the time to explain everything, answer our questions, and make sure we were comfortable with each decision. We feel very lucky to be under his care. He is a true gem and we cannot recommend him highly enough.

I am happy to rate Dr. Maison a solid 5! I would give him a 10 if I could. For years I was plagued by tinnitus. Ear Nose and Throat MDs and my own PCP basically said tinnitus was untreatable. I finally decided to get serious and make an appointment at Mass Eye and Ear. And I discovered there was a tinnitus clinic there! This clinic is run by Dr. Maison and I cannot say enough good things about him and his practice. I now wear hearing aids because after thorough testing, I learned that I had a significant hearing loss. Dr. Maison explained causes and treatments for tinnitus in lay person's terminology. To be clear, there is not yet a cure for tinnitus but my hearing aids help mask it and give me the ability to hear clearly! This guy is the real deal!

I had serious accident, hit by an suv and had a serious tbi. Post the accident my tinnitus condition started. Now that I am wearing the hearing aid prescribed by the tinnitus clinic, which Dr. Madison was splendid doctor, the process of healing has started. One hope is to recover from the “pitch shift” syndrome. Due to my tbi caused by the accident, I have lost the sense of awareness of exactness of the pitch. I am a musician, and a music teacher. I am now back at work working full time, and this pitch shift issue is a major setback for my career. We hope my brain can relearn where the notes are per se.
