Vistar Surgery Center

I’ve been the driver for many a friend who had surgery here and in all the years, not one of them has been seen at their appointment time. The doctors are kind, the staff are mostly kind, with the oddball who is stiff and emotionless. The bathrooms are clean. The automatic doors are sloooow and so is the surgery apparently. I’ve had to cancel my plans so many times that now when we come here, I make sure I don’t make any plans for the entire day because I know I’m going to have to cancel. A couple days ago we came for an 8am appointment and weren’t seen until almost 11am. 7:30 appointment this morning, she wasn’t taken back until 8:35. If you want to help a friend as a driver on their eye surgery day, drive them somewhere else.

Not good. Came for 9:40 appt. And waited 16 minutes to see 1st assistant…then to Eyeball Pressure Test, by 2nd assistant…then to Eye test & dilation, by 3rd assistant…taken to sub-Waiting (7-8minutes). Then taken for Pics of eyeball back wall, by 4th assistant….returned to Waiting 47 minutes ago…and at 11:15 still have not seen Doctor for 9:40 “Annual” Appt!…Are other Vistars managed like this???
