Very thorough and compassionate care. The veterinarians and staff are kind and patient, making every visit stress-free for our pets and us. Rates are reasonable and the facility is very nice. An excellent veterinary team that I highly recommend.

We took our cat to Stewart’s to see what was wrong with our cat. Our cat was pulling fur out of her front legs. She had a bad smell about her. She was not eating or eating very little. She had “2” of drule hanging from her mouth continuously. We paid over $400.00 To have her checked out. They did a blood test while we were there. They said they found flee poop but no fleas. ( we keep her treated because she stays inside our house.) they said she could be allergic to flea bites, they could not find an infection. The blood test came back good. ( this was done in house). They said she had 2 K- 9 teeth missing on one side. They said she could have 4 or 5 things bothering her, they gave us antibiotics and some liquid for pain for the teeth missing and sent us home. Staff was nice. I called back

Dr. Stewart has been our veterinary since she came to live in the Spruce Pine area. Her services throughout the years have been excellent. She is more than just our veterinary she is truly family to us. She is the best! We love her and the staff at the animal hospital. Thank you for always being there to help through the good times and sad times.

They take great care of my fur babies! It's easy to get appointments, they discuss treatment with you that meets your budget, and make it easy to pick up monthly prescriptions your pets may need. Super clean and very professional. They put the care of the animals first, no matter what! Best vet around!

Charli is my Old English Sheepdog who absolutely loves going to the vet. I have never seen a dog that whines to get out of the car and into the building like she does. She loves all the girls and gets so excited, it makes me feel good to take her. And when I have a problem, Dr. Stewart explains in terms I can understand. I had 2 dogs in the past that had to be put down due to either cancer or a brain tumor. Dr. Stewart and the girls were so compassionate. I will be with Stewart’s until the doors close!! ❤️
