I've been a patient at Spruce Pine Dental Arts for a few years now. All the staff members are courteous and respectful of my time, and are always easy to work with if any rescheduling needs arise. Dr Maltba is very knowledgeable and answers fully any questions or concerns I might have. Their practice features some the newest and most advanced equipment I have ever encountered in a dentist office. This equipment can show potential areas of concern that may not be a problem now, but could be an issue in the future, giving the patient a bit of warning about what they might face down the road. This is a great practice with even better people!

Great experience overall…I’m very impressed with all the diagnostics. I was able to get a nice visual of my teeth to help me better understand what’s happening. My dental hygienist Jackie was the most gentle and thorough hygienist I have ever had. I highly recommend Spruce Pine Dental.

Root Canals are usually traumatic, however my surgery today was a pleasure. Both Christy and Dr. Malba were very deliberate in their motions and handled the scraping and probing tools like a baton twirler in a speed contest. They have the latest tools to make impressions with a magic wand and utilize online x-rays to determine root depth. Definitely state of the art equipment. The office is very efficient with everyone moving with precision at full speed. Great to see a cooperative staff working together to get the job done. They have my highest recommendation based upon my years of dental procedure experience. My further recommendation is to always brush your teeth, floss and use a water pic to keep yourself free of surprise maintenance at the Dentist office. Beautiful office with comfort
