St. Mary's Hospital - Kankakee

I visited the ER on a Saturday night at about 10pm and there was only one other person in front of me and my child. The staff ( Beverly, Tabitha, Gavin, and the Dr.- who was an Asian woman-) were very kind and respectful. They cared for my child and gave us what we needed. We were out just over an hour which is amazing for an ER with some stitches. Glad I listened to the Holy Spirit when He told me to go to St. Mary’s instead of my usual which is Riverside. I have never been to St. Mary’s ER before this- it was my first time and I will be heading back the next time.

Called ambo on 2/25 evening, Riverside service picked me up . I have CHF, Devon and Dillon were me rescuers that evening, calming me down all the while taking care of me. Love those guys, great care from both keeping me calm. Get me to hospital at St Marys and Cam, Steve and Angie took over, another fantastic team. Very concerned and compassionate team from ambo to ER! I'll take all 5 of them anytime! You can tell they love their job! I wish I could hug them all! Just wanna say, keep up the great work you guys!!!

My stay was for about a week in ER and MICU. All staff were helpful, professional and caring. I speak mainly to the MICU staff. Nursing knowledge, professionalism and care were outstanding. They made me feel like they wanted to take care of me instead of that they had to. We laughed a lot, I moaned a lot. Never made me feel like a burden! Wonderful representatives of your hospital. My heart felt thanks to all of them!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

We had a very positive experience at this hospital during a stressful time for our family. My 1 year and 2 month old child was treated for a closed fracture. I would especially like to thank the doctor who applied the cast. He was very calm, confident, and clearly knew his work. He handled my baby with great care and made us feel reassured throughout the process. I am truly grateful that we were under his care. Thank you for your professionalism and compassion

I received excellent care at St. Mary’s. The staff were kind, compassionate, and highly professional, putting me at ease every step of the way. From the ER and CT to the Cath Lab, ICU, 3 West, and Pastoral Care, every department provided outstanding support. I am truly grateful for the exceptional care I received.
