The gentleman that was at the counter was so helpful. There were so many things I couldn't find, and I'd ask him if he knew what owl they were in. And he could direct me to the Aisle Immediately Just by the Numbers Or A Couple Times He Did Go to Help me, I could not find any baby wipes or any kind of wipes at all, he helped me find something that did say o Tc, they weren't baby wipes Uber, but they were still wiped, so that's fine, but then when you were scanning them, they wouldn't come app, I wasn't able to use them on my spendables card, but that was not his folks, he went back and tried to grab a few others to help me see if they would go through, but they didn't either. I have never had a pharmacist speak to me like I was stupid before until yesterday. February 17th, 2026 I was trying to pick up my daughter's prescription. The pharmacist said it needed a PA, even though it just had a PA last month. I called the doctor to send one over, but they said the medication doesn't need another PA as they're typically good for 1 year. I was confused, getting thrown everywhere, and no one explaining anything to me. The nurse from the doctors office even called the pharmacy to get everything straightened out yet the pharmacy never put anything through. The pharmacist said I needed to contact the insurance in which I did the next morning. Only to find out her medication was covered, and that it must've been a billing issue on the pharmacy's end. Sarah, the pharmacy tech at the Kankakee location, is excellent at her job. I watched her assist several people with Medicare and Medicaid topics and she also assisted me with the medication for my dog. This young lady is extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to interact with. She truly cares about the customers and extends her knowledge base to assist them!

I have important orders that were sent to this location (UPS packages). They never answer the phone and definitely aren't too friendly. I avoid going there, wish they offered package pickup at Walgreens instead. Also, why is there a taco truck parked outside?! Doesn't seem right.....🤔

I purchased a gift card from this location. When I checked the balance it was $0. This has never happened to me before so I went back to this location with my receipt in hand. I spoke with Eric who told me there’s nothing he could do because they’re non refundable. He also insinuated that the gift card was possible “switched out” which I was shocked and offended by. He also kept stressing that this has never happened before to him. I’m not a liar nor a thief. It’s a $20 gift card. I will not be returning to this location and I will advise everyone I know not to purchase gift cards from this location.
