South Bay Veterinary Group

This place is the best. We are first time dog owners, and we have no idea what we are doing. Everyone we have interacted with at South Bay, from vets to techs, has been so helpful and knowledgeable regarding our puppy, particularly around her recent spay surgery. We have met 3 of the veterinarians (Dr. Wosko, Dr. Frye, and Dr. Bower) across both locations, and they have all been excellent. Highly recommend this practice for anyone with a pet in the Beacon Hill or South End neighborhoods!

5 cats and more than 30 years of animal visits here. I wouldn't THINK of going anywhere else. The staff is amazing -- super friendly and understanding, particularly in an emergency. When I had to say goodbye to one of my cats, the attention to detail and my sorrow couldn't possibly have been handled more carefully. Thank you all!

Dr. Bower needs to work on her communication skills, as she had a hard time separating personal judgement from clinical observation and guidance. We are not bringing our pet back here, due to her lack of tact. As a doctor myself, her behavior was undeniably condescending. Would not recommend this clinic, especially if you have a bully breed.

Every visit we are met by friendly, respectful, compassionate caregivers. Our dog never becomes anxious during his visits. He gladly enters on his own and walks directly to the scale! We are so fortunate to be cared for by everyone at South Bay !

Dr Schuman is the best! She’s kind, patient and explains things thoroughly and thoughtfully! My dog has had check ups, emergencies and surgeries all at South Bay Vet. My experience has been easy scheduling and very quick responses from the entire team. Highly recommend.
