RX Physical Therapy

Hi Y'all, I see Matt to help with my muscle tension resulting from my chronic illness (EDS). While I have been working on building and training my muscles, I primarily see Matt for dry needling. He has a special talent for needling and is able to provide relief I can not get from any other therapy. When I first started to see him, I had to go pretty often but now I can go as long as two month before needing a maintenance session. The cost to benefit ratio is great, you really get what you pay for which is important to someone like me with a chronic illness. I have had an excellent experience with Dr Matt Cooper and could not recommend him enough. I originally came in because of a debilitating wrist injury where I could lift 0 weight with my right hand. Within two sessions, I was almost completely back to full strength. We then moved on to a nagging shoulder injury that despite seeing all manner of masseurs, ROLFers, acupuncturists, and other physical therapists continued to plague me. Happy to say my shoulder has never felt better. Dr Matt has helped me regain so much function in my wrist and shoulder and is always in good spirits and I always enjoy my visits and the follow up exercises he gives me. I fully recommend

Matt is the best! I started seeing him for a shoulder I could barely use while exercising and I'm now back to doing pull-ups thanks to Matt! He's extremely knowledgeable (and patient and kind) and had great ways to slowly ease back into doing different movements. 100% recommend!

I had surgery on my elbow for an injury I received while doing Bar Muscle Ups. The tendon disconnected from my elbow. I thought I would have pain in my elbow for the rest of my life. Luckily, a friend told me to check out RX Physical Therapy. I'm glad I did. Dr. Matt Cooper has been an incredible experience! He has helped me recover in ways that I didn't think possible. We've done dry needling which has substantially reduced the pain around my elbow and allowed me to try exercises I never thought possible. It's remarkable the difference that good physical theraphy can make as compared to run-of-the-mill physical therapy. Dr. Cooper knows his stuff well and is incredibly good at his practice.
