Nilsen Eye Care, now part of MyEyeDr.

Im starting to get alittle frustrated. I had my appointment on 12/30/2025 which all went well. No issues with the Dr. Tried to order prescription glasses that day with no such luck after about 45min later Alfred said he would have to see what's going on and would call me later. One week later Alfred said it was an issue with my contact fitting so I would need to pay more so I did. Then paid I think $430 to order my glasses and would be ready 1/16/2026. Didn't happen, Then Alfred said sence I didn't order contacts my Copay went up?. I paid that also. To date 1/28/2026 and $592 out of pocket and still no glasses.

Great staff. Doctors are attentive, thorough and very helpful. Especially when it comes to explaining medical terminology so that you understand what is happening with your vision. The staff is extra accommodating.

Today I had my first Optometry Appointment at "Nilsen Eye Care West" with Dr Jodi Vaughn. Being new to the practice, I wasn't sure what to expect at an initial appointment. I can truly say that everything exceeded ALL expectations. The entire staff was so welcoming and professional, from the initial registration to all the preliminary testing. Dr Vaughn has the special ability to take the time to explain everything in a way that is very understandable. Special thanks to Dr Vaughn for her expertise and to Vanessa and Grace for making the entire experience so special. I would highly recommend Dr Vaughn and her team, without reservation, to anyone looking for EXCELLENCE in Eye Care!!

Great Place!!! My daughter and I were both seen quickly, everyone was super nice, helpful, and very knowledgeable!!! Nilsen Eye Care will now be our permanent eye doc location!!!
