I'm a huge baby, I've had a bit of dental trauma in my life previously and some dentists that haven't been the best, so finding a good dentist as an adult was a huge priority as well as a huge necessity. I absolutely love this dentist office, they do the dental work for myself and my husband and my mother. They are gentle and they are kind and they are courteous. I absolutely love the dentist office I go to now and even though I still have some dental fear, having a really good dentist and a good dental team really make all of the difference for me. Especially since I have some medical problems that affect my oral cavity, a good dentist is really needed. I’ve been seeing PGD for this past year. Everyone is so pleasant and friendly. It’s about an hour from my house, but worth the drive. Erin is great! My teeth never felt this clean!!! I met all of the doctors now and I can’t say anything except “all of you are awesome and thanks for taking my lifelong fear about going to the dentist sway!”

Recently switched to Powhatan Gentle Dentistry as my previous dentist left the other dental office I was using. Dr. Wheeler, one of the dentist's at my new office is superb! When you crack a tooth/filing like I just did last night and they get you in so the dentist can take a look and make sure you can wait a bit for the repair- that is exceptional service. I have already had one cleaning with them and my hygienist Susan did a fantastic job in having my teeth look and feel extra clean. I will share more after this molar repair.--------The repair went exceptionally well and I am very pleased with Dr. Wheeler and all the folks at Powhatan Gentle Dentistry. I am closing in on my one year anniversary and I have had 4 cleanings all of which were done thoroughly, painlessly and very skillfully.

Dr. DeVera and her associates are very kind, respectful, and professional. Powhatan Gentle Dentistry was very busy on the day I needed a crown reset. The assistant …Adria is the rudest human being. She was nasty and not professional at all. I needed a pre auth and four months later their joke of an office manager who is literally the laziest person I’ve even come across still hadn’t completed it. The first one she sent off she managed to pre auth the wrong tooth. She is incompetent just like the rest of the staff. The only nice person was the girl at the front with curly hair. She was so sweet and kind. Do NOT go to this place. My son left with a huge spot on his tooth when the original cavity was tiny….dont get any work done by Dr. Wheeler u less you want huge holes in your mouth and a very unskilled dentist. Dr DeVera acts like she is playing a role instead of like an actual dentist should act. I have personally had her work on my
