Rite Aid Pharmacy

Fairly nice store, bright and clean. They lose a point for friendliness. Too often I've been at checkout and the attendants won't even acknowledge I'm there. A simple "I'll be with you in a moment" would suffice. Otherwise, it's an alright store.

I really take issue with the fact that I just called because I have 4 scripts ready and can not pick up until Friday. I asked for a note to be added and was told they often do not see the notes and will just return them, really? It's Thanksgiving weekend, my work commute is 3 hours round trip and they can't put a note on my scripts that I am picking up on Friday. This is one of the many reasons the Rite Aids are going under. Maybe if they improved their customer service they would fair better.

I wish I could share, unfortunately you CAN NOT reach individual in the pharmacy. Attempted 29 times between 2 days to see if my "bactarin" script could go through. I called the front register that stated they didn't know what pharmacy was doing but no customers there. I proceed to call corporate. Staff is friendly but SERVICE leaves a lot to be desired.

I personally hate going here, but it is one of a few places that accept my insurance. They make excuse after excuse about having to special order a prescription on AUTOFILL. This has never been a problem with anyone else I know who has special order prescriptions. They either forgot and just kept forgetting or just did not want to call it in. I had to wait two weeks to get my prescription to me (and i was out for most of these two weeks), and I had to call 3 separate times just for the pickup date would be in to be switched each time. Thankfully, this was not life-saving medication, or else i would be in an emergency. Absolutely unacceptable, vindictive staff who just hang up on you and horrible people running the place.

They need to improve their professionalism , not throw customer out of the pharmacy after wrongly telling us how to use medication and then passing the buck ! As a parents of a child , it’s very frustrating to learn that they told you the wrong number of times to take the medication and they treat you as a troublemaker and ask the manager to kick you out the pharmacy! As a manager ，why shouldn’t you ask the questions and solve the problems ? Rather than throw the parent out the pharmacy and say “I don’t know anything ”! FOR OUR WHOLE FAMILY HEALTH I WON’T BE BACK! I WILL NOT TRUST THEM ANYMORE!!!
