Publix Pharmacy at FishHawk Ranch

The staff at this Publix pharmacy consistently go above and beyond. Prescriptions are filled quickly, and if something is out of stock, they proactively check nearby locations. They know my family by first name and are always pleasant and welcoming. We couldn’t ask for better care.

We received a prescription from our doctor for an antibiotic for our child. When we went to fill the prescription, the pharmacist informed us that chewable tablets were unavailable and provided us with regular tablets instead. After my son took the first tablet, he began to complain of severe stomach pain. We later discovered that chewable tablets have a different concentration and should not be substituted for regular tablets, as regular tablets should not be given to children. The pharmacist blamed us as parents for choosing the tablets, yet he failed to inform us that the pills were not suitable for kids. He later shifted the blame to the doctor for prescribing chewable tablets and never admitted that he made a mistake. When I asked him to switch to liquid tablets with the correct conc

Pharmacist refused and delayed for six hours prescribing medication for my wife based on their own personal interpretation of the law. Finally given to us after calling local hospitals to try and explain to her the reason for the medication was not for what she was assuming. Would not make eye contact with me, nor give any advice for use of the medication. Complete lack of professionalism and prolonging of the suffering we endured today. Will never use this pharmacy as long as G Hufford continues to work there. Will be issuing a formal complaint with the Florida Board of Pharmacy.

Love the store, the employees are always polite and kind. Pharmacy on the other hand is incompetent mess. After 6 months of them screwing up my prescription im done with them. Update gave them another chance and and they screwed it up again. Please Winn Dixie come back

Very friendly compared to the other Publix Pharmacy’s that I have dealt with in the past, they were able fill my prescription with no problem.
