My auntie had hip and knee replacement surgery at the Cobb and was sent to Pruitt health care for rehabilitation. I have been almost 100 days at Pruitt Austell searching for good quality care from the Nursing staff. They are good nurses but some just dont really care. I did not plan to be here. These are circumstances of life. At times I left soak and wet on long period of time on a chair. On Monday night,there is no meds given except oxycodone and sleeping apnea for sleeping. The nurse needs to o be consistent. Thanks t o Our DON who works hard to make it happen Thanks for the nurse on East A , Ms. Skeeta and Miss Becky. Thanks for Mr. B who is very respectful and Ms. SYLVIA. THANKS, THE CHARGE NURSE and the wound nurse, Ms, Kate. I am improving on therapies but I I need more practice and directions on following the steps I need to do to function independently. My goal is to go back to my teaching

The only truly bright spot was Bridget the speech therapist! My husband was left uncovered for hours in the early morning and I found him that way. I spent hours trying to get thickened water for him. His blood sugar got out of control under their care as they changed his insulin dosage without consulting his endocrinologist, also his infection came back. The final straw was when they left him in a broken bed overnight and he fell out of it, thank goodness because he was taken to the emergency room where they discovered that his condition had regressed substantially.

My mother was sent to Priutt in Austell from Kennestone Wellstar on 11-7-25, and it wasn’t long after that she became dehydrated and this injured her kidneys. I requested she be sent to Cobb Hospital and they refused to send her until 11-20-25, and she died the next day. Priutt is partially responsible for my mother’s death. They did not keep her dry, the did not provide water for her (when they did, it was sink water), and when I asked for help or assistance some of the employees were great, while others were bothered and visibly aggravated. The call button was a joke as it was not answered! The CNAs (in the light blue uniforms), hate their jobs and told my mom to just ‘go to sleep’.
