Patient First Primary & Urgent Care - Lake Ridge

I don’t usually write bad reviews unless it’s actually really bad. The receptionist was nice, cool. I wait in the room for what seems like forever, I get my blood drawn and continue waiting. The physician comes in and asks me if I’m okay and if there’s anything going on. Blood results look fine, still waiting on the other half. I try explaining a recent concern and he tells me to just get to the point? I felt like he was in a rush when I’ve sat there for almost two hours already. He didn’t seem like he wanted to help, he just wanted a brief. We then discuss, he checks my heart and does a quick listen and touch then says the symptoms I’m describing sounds like cancer? Just because I also said that one relative has had cancer. No further evaluation, no additional blood drawn, nor referral to

I’m so glad that I went to Patient First today. I had been suffering and I was able to get the help that I needed. Stephanie at reception was so welcoming, kind and supportive! The lady who did my vitals was also really kind and professional. Dr. Joseph is awesome! He has a wonderful bedside manner! He listened to my issue, didn’t rush me and prescribed the medication I needed. I was able to ask questions and he didn’t get annoyed. I’m really thankful that the Dream Team was there today!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by the Patient First facility in my area. Having gone in on a weekend day I wasn't surprised by a long(ish) wait. The staff was really great from check-in to the medical staff. Being that they offer general practice care I may be a returning patient.

I have always had a generally positive experience at Patient First and my visit today was no different. My whole visit only took one hour to include intake and being seen by the physician. I was taken back within 15 minutes of being there. The NP I saw was very thorough and knowledgeable. Thank you for treating me. Keep up the good work.
