Osco Pharmacy

I previously had good experiences with this pharmacy but recently they weren't able to fill a prescription for our child's astma medication. After waiting for a week, I called to inquire and was told that it would arrive tomorrow, "we'll let you know." Called again in a few days: "it's on back order." After waiting for two weeks, at which point we needed it urgently, we transferred the prescription to a nearby CVS, which didn't have it in stock either, but was able to get it to us the next day. I believe that if the pharmacy is not able to fill a prescription within a reasonable time, they should, as a minimum, alert the customer and/or the doctor's office.

several good experiences at this pharmacy. When I was abroad on vacation, they called me to ask if I would be picking up my meds, I requested they please hold my meds an additional 10 days and they sure did. On another instance, I called to request proof of payment for an rx and they expeditiously mailed it. Really impressed overall with their efficiency. I also sometimes use coupons to buy my meds and they are always patient and try to help me.

I love Osco! They fill prescriptions very fast (usually within a few hours), their staff are friendly and helpful, and they have the best prices in the area. I get two brand-name medications every month, and they cost about $5 in total. They also automatically added a coupon for me when my insurance denied a prescription, saving me $90.

The Star/Osco pharmacists are pleasant and efficient, and the pharmacy has a large inventory of medications on hand, or can get them with little delay. Unlike CVS and Walgreens, the staffing at Osco is adequate, which makes for a far better experience.
