Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston Medical Center

Did something change with emergency dental???? I called at 7am got an appointment only to get there and them not take out my tooth! Some bull about I have to see another dentist to only come back to get it taken out! Anybody else experience this? This was my first time. I have had no issues in the past into today! If someone makes a same day appointment clearly shows they are in pain for you to turn them away if sad!

As, I walked in there you could feel the good vibes , Jamil Hicks was awesome definitely made me feel comfortable, and having Vera, and Corey with a "C not a " K" 😂 among all the other doctors it was a good experience... I would like to thank you all.. Ty

Absolutely do not recommend BMC Oral and MaxilloFacial Surgery Clinic. The entire clinic and system is poorly managed and with no patient consideration. To schedule an appointment for wisdom teeth removal we were directed to call each day at 8am to try and secure a spot THAT day, with no consideration to a patient's outside responsibilities. It wasn't until I had to email the clinic director after having signs of an infection in my gums from getting continuous voicemails when attempting to make an appointment through their ineffective system about the poor service did they prioritize my care. During the first surgery for 2 wisdom teeth removal they were unprepared to the point that they had to extend my novocaine needs that cost extra. Now after scheduling my second surgery for the other 2

Don't waste your time going here if you don't want to see your time wasted. They will rush you out of that office and not listen to you at all. I told them that I wanted all four of my wisdom teeth removed, but they told me they could only do one, even though my other wisdom teeth were also in pain. Then, I was quickly rushed out of the office. Not to mention, people kept walking into the room during the consultation, which was rude. Also, the so-called dentist didn't even close the door, so people could enter and leave as they pleased. Thank you to the two nurses who wasted my time while talking about your personal lives and some malpractice that happened from another doctor , Also, they mention something in the lines of "pretending to look like we're working" - which gave me an anxiety

Should be O stars. This office and medical dept is incompetent. Misplaced my personal medical records information that was sent there for initial appointment also MRI tests. Let them know but they have no clue what happened to them. You don't even see the doctor that you made the appointment with. Always someone else or an intern. Billing dept is no better after confirming this injury was being billed thru medical insurance not dental insurance no dental info was giving don't know how they get that. They still billed my dental insurance anyway causing me to receive bills from the hospital. They wasted my time and kept me going there for over 6 months for an injury and never did give me a correct diagnosis. Don't waste your time and aggravation going there.
