Massachusetts General Hospital Neurology

Spent 8 hours in the emergency department with saggy brain ( leaking cerebral fluid). I had an mri and the report confirming it. 8 hours later, mass general neurology dept stillbhavent opened the mri on disk. It was already read and interpreted by a mass general radiologist who also works for Mass General. After 3 requests to do something to nail down the location of the leak and patch it, the neurosurgeon dept still didn’t come down to talk to me. We finally left. Disappointing, disgusting. 8 hours and no action. I’m just flabbergasted. Then when we finally said we were leaving , they reached out to neurology one last time. Still no response. The "intake process" is really ridiculous. The made me give all the informations and at the end didn't helped me at all because I didn't know my insurance number. I am patient from Mass General and they said since I gave once I don't need to do that again and after all informations correctly, also the insurance name she said I need the number. My card wasn't with me because I don't need it. Like I said all places I go already have it and never asked again. This is to get the life harder and for someone calling a NEUROLOGIST! I am never calling them again

During my visit, Dr. Christopher Stephen Jayne (Neurologist) displayed behavior that I believe was unethical and unprofessional, and fell below the standard of care expected from a licensed medical practitioner. Please investigate this doctor. I don’t recommend this doctor to anyone.

Customer service is absolutely horrible. I was on the phone with them from 8,30 am to 4:30 pm. Just kept getting people who didn’t have a clue. One person would tell you one thing and the next would tell you something totally different. I kept being put on hold no one would ever come back to help me. I’d wait so long the calls would just drop off. I asked to speak to a supervisor was told she was in a meeting and would call me back never ever did. All I was trying to do was make an appointment for my husband to see a specialist in neurology. Started the process back on August 28, 2024. It is now December 3, and no one has ever had the courtesy to get back to me yet. First impression are the backbone of a Business. Mass General has no one that follows through and gets back to the customer.
