Doctors, nurses, med assistants and a few office staff are good. I absolutely LOVE my PCP and have followed them. We appreciate each others time, life experience and values. I am part of a multi-cultural family and attended non-traditional public institutions of higher education. I managed folks of different ages and persuations and never had to deal with so many rude people. There are some of receptionists and manager are beyond rude and ought not ever work with the public, elderly and disabled. They clearly don't have the capacity for high stress jobs or critical thinking and communication. You are not paying me to be there folks and my insurance is paying you!!! If the medical director was smart she would approach the powers that be to save the practice and dump the inept manager. I

I had to teach the provider’s office how to provide health care. They abandoned my son and left me, 80 years old with no training whatsoever to nurse my son’s terrible infected leg! I was left to purchase very expensive medical supplies with my social security income! They hired a nurse who made my learning disabled son feel devalued and unworthy of care! This is MGH Associates? I was shocked! My son went there for a whole year for appointments before they paid attention to his leaking wounds! Why did they not think this was serious enough??? As a result he was hospitalized and lost his job! If it were attended to earlier, he would still have a job and I would not be suffering financially!

As an employee of the hospital I waited for over an hour which I expect from a pcp. But when I couldn’t wait any longer I was called directly by the doctor and told “ well I’m only running a couple mins behind” then there was a note and prescription wrote about a visit I did not have and an inaccurate medication. When I tried to get an accurate medication filled with messages both over the phone and on PG with the updated pharmacy it was sent to the wrong one. When I called to get them to change it once again the doctor called me directly I was told “well I’m working nights so I didnt see it” after 48 hours of calling in a prescription I still not have been able to get it straightened out

I have been using this practice for almost 20 years. I have gone thru 2 PCP and now on my third Primary Care Physician. For me the Group has gone downhill. It is now a crisis oriented practice, at least with my PCP. No preventive medicine at all. A wellness annual visit doesn't include a physical and no bloodwork ordered unless you ask for it. I would recommend folks try some of the MGH onsite Groups for better care. I stick with it only for the specialities offered by MGH and the fact that I can self refer. Update: My PCP resigned. After waiting a year to be reassigned I was offered a Nurse Practitioner. MHG Beacon Hill does not know that PCP means Primary Care PHYSICIAN. I rejected and found another PCP from within MGH. This Office should be closed.

Very bad service. They tell you to use PatientGateway but nobody replies. They record the visit so someone else can do the transcript on behalf of the doctor because either the doctors have too many patients or god knows why. The people who answer the phone are usually not friendly. Long waiting times too. They had some construction happening recently and because of that the front desk was in front of the elevators and you couldn't pay the copay in advance. But then they charged me a humongous bill and it's not their fault of course. Terrible terrible service.
