Malta Med Emergent Care

Over 2 hours they called in less than 5 people. Went to ask how long the wait was going to be and there is no employee back there. Waited 5 minutes and still nobody showed up. Wouldn't go here if you want to be seen.

This morning I brought my teenager in who has a unique and extensive cardiac history. I knew pink eye was a reality and some virus but I was concerned about some skin discoloration and possible cardiac concerns. I Can not rave more about the care we received. From the pct who checked us in, the multiple nurses, the x ray tech and the PA. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were taken into a room and treated promptly. Every test possible was ordered to rule out multiple illness and possible cardiac complications. The PA contacted our cardiologist to get a full explanation and understanding of cardiac history. I brought my baby to this ER due to ear pain and clear signs of an ear infection. After being examined, we were sent home without any antibiotics or proper treatment. As a parent, I trusted the medical judgment provided at the time. Unfortunately, my baby’s condition did not improve. When I later took her to an emergency room in New Jersey, the doctors there were surprised and concerned that no antibiotics had been prescribed, as she clearly had an ear infection that required treatment. This experience caused unnecessary pain and discomfort for my child and significant stress for our family. I am very disappointed with the lack of appropriate care and follow-through. I hope this review encourages better evaluation and treatment for young patients in the future, because babies cannot speak

I went in on Thanksgiving Day not feeling well. I really just wanted to say thank you to the staff yesterday. They were amazing, and left no stone unturned with testing. The PA Danielle was truly concerned and did everything she could to make me feel comfortable and answer all my questions. The nurse and techs caring for me were also amazing. Thanks again for the amazing care on a major holiday!

I am having a day from hell but I still have to write this review. I went through something very stressful and a couple of the nurses as well as the PA whose name I think is Brad... they were extremely kind, gentle, compassionate, and just every good adjective that I can think of. Im so appreciative of their bedside manner and how far they went to help me. Ive never been more thankful for a dr as I was today. Give him a shout out, a raise, something. Truly a great bunch of people.
