My mother has been here a few months after transferring from a sister facility in another city. She’s always clean, but there are MUCH LARGER PROBLEMS occurring. They have “lost” all of her clothing TWICE. I just took new clothing to her for Christmas, and most of it is already missing. They were ALL LABELED with her name. She has received clothing back that IS NOT hers. I live a good distance away, otherwise I would do her clothing myself. Also, a CNA slapped my mother on her body. She talked with someone in the administration, but was never given a copy of an incident report, and the CNA still works there-but in another section. I was NEVER INFORMED it happened. They have minimal activities for the residents, which is sad because the facility is fairly large and has a nice yard with benc

The reason for this review is only because of the treatment that was given by the Nruse on duty tonight (Jamelia). I went in to sign my grandma back in for the night, no one was at the nurses station but it was a nurse on the floor that I saw and but she never asked what it was that I could have needed until I had to call for for her attention. And she had any slight attitude and said that she would be with me shortly after learning that I only wanted to sign her back in but I didn’t see a sign in book. She thinks her job is more important than anyone else because she is a nurse (so no one else job is equal to hers) what a joke. Jamelia must not know that it takes team work, too make the dream work. Floors filthy bathroom filthy whole facility reeks of urine and excrement don't answer call bells, Administrator won't talk to you he doesn't seem to know what he is doing. Social worker doesn't seem to even care if you have concerns. Seen residents running around running in other people's rooms. It's so sad to see the ppl there in the state that they are living nobody looks like they have been groomed none whatsoever. If you love your loved ones this is not the place to send them. The animals at the shelter lives better than these poor people. This place needs to be closed ASAP. And I do have pictures

My mother has been to Magnolia Gardens twice for rehab and my aunt resides there. I will say the staff is awesome. From the financial department to the nursing staff and the housekeeping staff and Social worker and many more. Ashley and Melissa were so helpful and put my worries at ease when I wasn't sure how to keep my mom there until she was ready to go home safely. Love all the nurses and CNA's,they are very attentive to my aunt who is wheel chair dependent. I can rest at night knowing my mom and my aunt are with knowledgeable and caring people. If you are looking for a loving caring place for your loved one , Magnolia Gardens is the place.
