Litchfield County Pediatrics

I was a patient here when my family moved to Torrington from Maine in 1999-2000, when I was 9 years old. I was 19 when I had my first son and was unfortunately unable to continue receiving care through them once my pregnancy was confirmed as I was no longer considered a child/dependent. Although I am unsure if they still allow child, teens, and young adults up to the age 21 (provided they are not pregnant or have children or other reasons that would disqualify them from being able) to go there. However by the time I had to transition I had grown to really love and appreciate the practice.

I hardly ever leave a review, but I simply must out of thanks and appreciation for this practice. Every doctor and nurse at Litchfield County Pediatrics is excellent. We have taken our baby boy here from day 2 of his life and every time we see someone we feel listened to and treated with care and respect. Dr. Michelle Henry is also a lactation consultant who has made breastfeeding possible for me -- without her help and guidance, I would have given up. She has made all the difference in the world and I'm so happy to be able to do this for my son. If you are having any kind of trouble with that -- she makes herself available very quickly to work with you. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses that care for our family.

Been on hold for 20 mins this time. Gave up last time after 30 mins. Awful hold music. They really have no one to answer phones here? How is no one answering the non emergency appointment line? Still waiting as im writing this. I'll bet the office staff doesn't take this long to respond to texts on there phones! Still waiting!.............................. Still waiting.................................... Good news! After they waste your time they send you to voice-mail.😂😂😂😂😂 Great job! I hope the doctors are more competent then the staff they hire! Anyone reading this, dont waste your time! Go somewhere else!

I'm the mom of a 15 years old boy who have been a patient at Litchfield County Pediatrics since day one; I only have positive things to say about the doctors, nurses and front desk staff, everyone displays at high level of professionalism, courtesy and do actually care for my child's well being. Dr. Tenczar is pretty meticulous and always explains in gran length any concerns I may bring up during our visits. Highly recommended!

We have three kids and have been going to Litchfield County Pediatrics for 12 years now. The doctors at this office are excellent and have handled some difficult and unique situations extremely well. The PA's have been wonderful and the front office staff should probably write a book on how to treat patients/customers. They are courteous and accommodating and will always find a way for your child to be seen the same day. The staff at Litchfield County Pediatrics has remained largely the same for more than a decade now, which speaks to the stability of this office and care for its employees. If you're looking for excellent care for your child(ren) and parental peace of mind, you just found it.
