NOTE: I posted this in January. I had contacted a patient advocate in October. I never heard back. When I reached back out they said they assumed it was resolved ..so never thought to reach out and check with the patient. !! These communication issues RUN DEEP at Hartford Healthcare and only the patients suffer. NO ONE at HH cares about the opportunity to “make this right” despite having the chance for 90days they failed pretty miserably. If Tracey Hussey from Bristol sees this- you should run screaming from this place too!! Because they’re not careful whose chart they pull!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I’m disgusted. It is a pleasure to see a medical professional like David Ohotnicky , APRN, who is knowledgeable, emphatic, insightful, and kind. During my recent office visit in Torrington, CT, he listened well, answered all my many questions, and help problem solve with a serious medical condition I face. Each year when I come for an annual check up, I find him and his office staff to be exactly what I appreciate- friendly, helpful, and attentive to details. I highly recommend the wonderful APRN David Ohotnicky.

This is an amazing APRN. I went to him for a 2nd opinion, he took his time to view my chart and reviewed everything on it. He came in with a great attitude amazing bed side manners, amazing knowledge and is for the people. This is the 1st time in many years I feel like my Doctor is on my team, he listened and acknowledge my worries and concerns! I didn't feel like another number, he made me feel like a person.

I am always greeted as soon as I enter the office. Sign in is easy as it can be done electronically. I have not waited more than 5 minutes at the most to be seen by David Ohotnicky, APRN. The staff is always very helpful and very friendly. Everything is explained thoroughly during the examination. This Hartford Healthcare office definitely deserves a 5 star rating!

It was very apparent that he had made up his mind before he even entered the room. He started off by explaining statistics and standard deviation, holding what looked like a napkin drawing that he said he did 9 years ago, of a standard bell curve. Had no interest in me, my symptoms and what I feel on a daily basis, never even asked, and when I asked if I could talk about those he was not interested in hearing them. David, patients deserve better than this. Shame on you for being so dismissive. Even my neurologist said I shouldn’t expect much from you, and boy was she right. Thankfully SHE encouraged me to advocate for myself , considering her experience was exactly like mine. Would you have listened to me if I was a doctor?
