From my very first experience with Lake Hopatcong Animal Hospital, it was very clear that Dr. Navarro and his staff are very compassionate about their work, caring for our pets. I am new to the area and called for the very first time, in hysterics, with a VERY sick outdoor cat. They had me come immediately, which I was sure was to help put her down, but instead, the Doctor saved this cat! He and his staff were amazing with her. Same, when I called a few months later, with a sick puppy, they had me come in right away and within minutes my Frankie was on the table and on the mend!! I cannot say enough positive things about LHAH. This is the most attentive, intuitive and friendly vet I’ve ever been to. They’re locally owned (not sold out to big venture capital), incredibly knowledgeable and skilled vets who are friendly and genuinely love animals. We went to newton animal hospital, had multiple awful experiences. Switched to Andover and they were okay, just never felt like I was in good hands there. Lake Hopatcong Animal Hospital immediately made me feel welcome, the doctors are fantastic with my dogs, and they diagnosed issues that slipped through the cracks at the other two almost immediately.
