Jia Yin, M.D., Ph.D.

I have ongoing issues with my vision and have been going to Mass and Ear (Stoneham campus and Boston) for several years. The staff has always been incredible from surgeries to follow ups with no complaints. My latest visit, (Stoneham) from sign to testing and visit with Dr. Yin, all went very well and in a timely manner.

My visit with Dr. Yin exceeded my expectations. She went out of her way to address my specific needs. She took time to explain things to ensure that I understood them. She was very friendly and approachable.

Dr Yin, has exceeded my expectations with my surgery, and follow up care. She and her staff are kind, courteous and professional. So happy with my new vision.

Dr Yin understood my issues and is sending me for tests to see if I can get a cornea transplant. She said I might also need a pupil transplant. She will only know after the tests.

Dr. Yin did my lasik surgery eight months ago. I wore glasses for 32 years and now it feels like I never had them. I was deemed ineligible by other lasik centers but she worked with me and made it happen. During the surgery, I had never been so nervous, but for her, it was a Tuesday. Thank you Dr. Yin and the Mass Eye and Ear staff!
