Such a great experience.💕 Dr. N. Parekh is truly an amazing dentist! No-nonsense, gentle, professional, and completely non-judgmental. I didn’t even feel the numbing needle. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Maria, Dr. P’s assistant, was also wonderful—so kind, gentle, and personable. She really helped put me at ease. Jami C. at the front desk was welcoming and friendly from the moment I walked in, which made a big difference. I’ve had two terrible dental experiences in the past, one of which cost me almost $30,000 at Advanced Dental in Berlin, CT, so I was extremely anxious going in. I need to preface by saying I have wicked dental anxiety and some of the worst dental horror stories I’ve heard of (RL Stine would be scared). Yesterday I had to have a ton of work done and the first thing I did this morning was call to thank them. I woke up this morning with minimal pain, excitement over the next steps and NO complications. The entire staff at Horizon is amazing and clearly care about what they do and the well being of their patients. I’m relieved to have found Dr. Modi and the entire Horizon Dental team.

Hello all! This is just an initial review as I had just gotten off the phone with the staff from Horizon Dental in Torrington Connecticut to make my first initial appointment, this being the first dental appointment I have had in almost 20 years as I have not had insurance, I've tried to make appointments with several different dentists in the Torrington area as I have much work that needs to be done, I have a very abnormal fear of dental work and of needles, and I am so impressed by just an initial phone call with the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff that I made the appointment with I wish I had gotten her name, I was honest with about everything with her and she made me feel nothing short of welcome and heard! This dentist office is absolutely amazing! The front desk is super friendly and welcoming, and the whole staff is kind, professional, and clearly knows what they’re doing. The dentist is incredibly smart, skilled, and explains everything so well — you can really tell he knows exactly what he’s doing. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of.
