We've been taking our 3 dogs and 3 cats to Hershire for the last 4 years. The staff is always fantastic. Our Golden was diagnosed with a Mast Cell Tumor problem 4 years ago and has undergone 4 surgeries to remove the tumors. Each time, the staff (regardless of the vet we see) has calmly explained what it is, the game plan, and provides support knowing that surgery for a cancerous tumor is hard news. Each one of our other animals with medial needs (cat with kidney failure, dog with sever allergies and skin issues, another cat that blocked twice and got a PU surger), have been treated amazingly. I cannot suggest this practice enough.

Brought my 2 kittens in for their first checkup. Scheduling was easy and convenient and all of the staff was super nice. Dr Bowman was super sweet, informative, and gentle with our two little guys Cortado and Piccolo. Everyone one in the front office was awesome and the techs assisting Dr. Bowman were a pleasure, I’d be happy to bring my cats back to them. Thank you very much!

We have had up to 2 dogs and 3 cats in the past 13 years and have lived in 4 different states. Hershire is by far the best vet we have ever had. They care about getting our babies in as soon as possible, give top notch care and we’re very supportive when we had to let go of our sweet girl Stache. Within two months of moving to Pennsylvania, Stache started showing signs of cancer. The entire staff has been amazing. When we finally had to make the decision to let her go she was visited by so many of the staff to say goodbye. Stache has never liked the vet, but she was the most calm and low stress I’ve ever seen her when we would visit. About two to three years ago now, one of my cats ended up very sick. I was in a legal battle with an ex who stole just about all my money and my cat, unbeknownst to me, had gotten pregnant and went into sepsis. I took her to the ER vet who quoted me over 14,000 to save her life, I sat in that cold tiled room sobbing on the floor thinking I was going to have to surrender my cat. Thus began the frantic calling of every local vet I could possibly think of in hopes of saving my sweet baby. I had gone to Hershire in the past, for a cat my roommates and I shared years ago, they were kind then, and they were more than kind now. I have never had a bad experience with Hershire, I went to them in an absolute life or death situation and they worked with me much more than they needed to for a stranger
