If you are having eye or vision issues I strongly recommend Dr Velez. Office staff and medical assistants were courteous and professional. The testing was thorough including eye photos. Dr Velez is calm and took her time to educate me and looks at her patients as a whole not just their eyes. I am thankful to have had her evaluate my vision and address my eye problem.

If I could give it a lower score I would. I had an appointment at 1pm today that I booked online. I was there from 12:45 to 4:30. They couldn’t even find me in the records so they had me fill out all the paperwork again. I then waited 1.5 hours before seeing a technician who promptly asked all the same questions. And proceeded to do a ton of exams. I was placed back into a room where I sat for at least another half hour. I finally was seen by the doctor who asked all the same questions. She told me that none of my eye exams for glasses were useful because they were done while I had an eye infection, which is why I made the appointment in the first place. She didn’t address any of the exams until I asked and answered with medical language. I asked her to explain and she mostly answered in

Terrible time management. Every time we come here we wait and wait and wait. Last time we came in, a woman had been in the waiting room for 3 HOURS before even being called back to begin the whole process!! That is unacceptable and just down right rude. Have some consideration. Obviously emergencies happen, but keep your clients informed and allow them to reschedule if the wait is going to be that long. Schedule less patients in a day! It’s not rocket science! Right now it is 11:53 and we are still waiting to see the doctor for a 9:30 appt. I will never be coming here again. However, the nurse, Shannon, was super nice and patient with my mother. The staff at the desk is also courteous and helpful. The doctor herself seems great, but it’s just rude to make people wait so long.

If you are looking for an eye exam, try somewhere else. Other than Jonathon, who politely and efficiently checked me in, this place was a bad experience. I waited 1.5 hours and still didn't see a doc. I had to walk out. I repeatedly asked if it was likely I'd be out of there by 1:00, but all I heard was "I don't know." Costco in Nashua has an optical department - it may not be the best, but I bet they can put me in glasses until I find a doctor who sees patients instead of just charging them. These people are only in it for the money. Patients deserve more.

Dr. Velez saved my husband's sight. She is an amazing surgeon and really knows her stuff. Her staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. She has always been available for immediate follow up whenever we have needed it.
