CVS Pharmacy

Medication is low supply and I understand that. But the Pharmacist ( ut bage and ponytail) was cold and acting like I was wasting his time when I was trying to figure out how to deal with the shortage. Didn't want to help or provide any guidance. I come here to get medicine not be judged.

This is not a veteran-friendly pharmacy. Calling out, "we got another one", then having your pharmacist angry type as a way to avoid processing the interaction was alarming, rude, and unhelpful.

I had such a great experience at this CVS pharmacy. They got both of my prescriptions ready in a timely manner. My son could not keep down one of the antibiotics so his DR prescribed something different but it was sent in 20 min before the pharmacy closed. I called and talked to the pharmacist and he was able to get it ready for us by the time I got there 5 minutes before closing. I understand he may not be able to do this for every patient but it was truly appreciated that he was able to do this for us. I have nothing but good things to say about this pharmacy and our experience yesterday.

Store itself is okay. Annoyed I have to go search the store to find an employee to unlock everyday products for me. But the pharmacy is frustrating. There’s always a long line for pick ups with ten people behind the counter but only one person working the register - nobody else even acknowledges customers let alone helps out when it’s busy.

This pharmacy takes my mediocre insurance, and has a solid supply chain even for obscure medications. As the corporation goes, they do not dedicate enough space or resources to the actual pharmacy. It’s understaffed for the customer volume and too cramped to hire more. You can tell they are overwhelmed and it’s very slow. If your prescription is ready are the only person in line/car in the drive-thru, you may get your Rx in 5 minutes. The stars must align and you will leave happy as a clam and come back next month. But that time there will be 4 people in line and you’ll wait 40+ minutes. It’s no faster than big HEB. If you have good insurance, go to the local place a block away.
