Texas State Optical San Marcos

Dr. Ramos’ new Texas State Optical office in San Marcos is a beautiful, clean and bright office. The intake receptionist was so efficient getting me in right away, processed my insurance quickly and took me back to get all of the latest tests for the health of my eyes. The tech was so pleasant throughout the pre-tests and explained everything she was doing. Dr. Ramos took his time with me and explained the changes in my vision and options for glasses and contacts. The checkout tech was great with picking out lenses and processed me out quickly. I would recommend this office for anyonr needing a new eye doctor.

They were all very kind! I’ve been going to the same optometrist for the last 10 yrs and with this being my first time elsewhere, I definitely see a difference in hospitality and pricing. They also had a small but great selection of glasses. I finally found some cute frame worth purchasing and will be returning. Mind you I haven’t purchased new ones since 2020.

I have been a patient of Dr Ramos for many years and was super excited for him to open his own office in San Marcos. As always he was patient as I rambled & explained everything so it's easy to understand. He has always worked with my crazy eyes to ensure I have what I need - which for me is daily progressive glasses, work glasses (for when I am on computer) anddddd contact lenses. He also has a great memory & you feel as though he remembers you every year. I cannot recommend him high enough. His front desk staff is super friendly and had all my info ready to go. They do have a nice selection of frames including some RayBan. When you go, try to park in front of the second hand store on same side as the little HEB otherwise you have to walk a little bit (like if you park in parking gara

The eye exam was thorough, and Dr. Ramos took the time to explain everything clearly. I really appreciate their attention to detail and excellent customer service.
