Court House Manor

Court House Manor was great with my sister. She went there for rehabilitation after being in the hospital for 18 days. Court House Manor all of the Nurses and Aides were great, they tended to her medical needs quickly when she pushed the call button. They also came in the room periodically to see if she was alright and needed anything. Physical Therapists were great working with her to meet her goals. The Physician and Nurse Practitioner were wonderful making sure orders and prescriptions was done and carried out asap. Social Worker made sure transportation arrangements were made for any off facility medical appointments and supplies she would need at home was delivered. Do not recommend. My mother was there for Hospice care. There were staff/nurses there that were very conscientious and helpful. There were probably just as many that were not. I spent days with her there and took care of her myself. I the evening and at night she would call me in distress because her light had been going off for over an hour- sometimes two-laying on her own mess. If I called to ask someone to please check her- they took issue with it and then went to her room, frustrated and tossed her around in bed to change her. One nurse came in an accused her of being a liar- an 80 year old woman, dying of cancer. One nuse was consitently snarky to her. At first this place seemed great, and a perfect place for my mom, but the longer she's there, the worse it gets. My mom has been very close to death twice now in the last few months (2024) due to their neglect, not to mention the many times she has mentioned different symptoms to the staff for different things, and none of them ever being followed up on. We have had to ask them to send her to the ER to get checked out three different times this year, all three times, resulting in being admitted to the hospital for several days, on things that were OBVIOUSLY wrong, that they should have noticed and taken care of before they ever got to the point of life or death. Why aren't the staff noticing these things? And if they are noticing them, why aren't they doing anything about them? And no,

We used to talk highly of this place because we thought it was a good facility. Unfortunately we were wrong. Don't let the cute little town themed foyer fool you. My grandma has been left to almost die twice now and they treat her poorly. If our family didn't visit as often as they do, she would have been dead by now due to neglect from the staff here. Don't send your loved ones here to die. Also check out the 5 star reviews, most of them are from their own staff trying to boost their rating. Get out of here with that. This place sucks.

My dad was at Court House Manor briefly in 2022. It was terrible. No security. He couldn't even reach his water or lift it. They let him fall, lost his teeth the first night, then served him food he couldn't chew. He had heel sores. Scrotum was raw. Thrush in his mouth. He went into kidney failure. He was in tremendous pain. I wish I had never taken him there. Death center.
