I came to Columbia dental only because they accepted this plan called cherry. I could not afford out of pocket $1,400 so I come to this place to get a deep cleaning and a possible tooth extraction that has been hurting me. Long story short he told me I did not need a deep cleaning. Never had a consultation with him. He asked to go to the room. As I'm sitting in patient chair. His hand and tools are down my throat. His receptionist is attempting to go over two different outcomes. Obviously I'm not in a position to talk I mumbled and made a hand gesture to leave. I couldn't talk before I knew it I had a implant and a cadaver bone where my tooth extracted. I now owe Colombia dental. $8k sent me home with no discharge instructions. No financial break down. Everything was great until recently. I went for a cleaning appointment - and they switched over to a new computer system. The lady in front of me who had an appointment for screwed over because they messed up her appointment time. When it came time to check in for my appointment, the secretary said I had not been there since 2019 (not true - had a filling in March) - and proceeded to say I had a past balance due despite the fact that I already paid everything off a long time ago! The computer errors were just too agonizing and the secretary was very mean. I left before I even got a cleaning. I was too afraid they were going to mess something else up.

I am so very pleased with this office. I had a lot of trepidation going into this procedure, but what a wonderful experience it turned out to be. Graciela, at the front desk, is a pleasure! She is competent and always so very nice to me. Sillin, Who assisted Dr Lashgari, is my rock. She is honest and encouraging and supportive! Dr Lashgari did a wonderful job, working well with the very bad situation I had in my mouth. He really knows what he’s doing! And he’s quite determined to have a happy, satisfied, patient at the end of the day! What a nice man! And, the kindness and attention given to me by Parvin, exceeded anything I could have expected. She listened to my concerns which resulted in a great finished product. Everyone truly works together as a team! I am very satisfied with the end

Worst experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. Went in for antibiotics and came out with “sutures” I didn’t ask for. The dentist NEVER gave me any clue as to what was going on besides “you have an infection”. Didn’t tell me what he was going to do nor did he tell me it required stitches in my mouth. On top of that, I mentioned how too much novacaine gives me an adverse reaction, and he proceeded to tell me I was being dramatic and gave me 7 SHOTS of novacaine, which I then experienced heart palpitations and shortness of breath over. Along with all of this, he mocked me and called me a “crybaby” while making the crying motion with his hands when I told him I didn’t want to go through with the “cleaning” he said I needed done as I did not want the novacaine. I went to Columbia Dental today to have 3 broken teeth out. The main doctor who does this was absolutely phenomenal! I have dental anxiety and he really put my mind at ease, made me laugh, the dental assistant was very kind to me as well. I would definitely go here again and I am not as afraid anymore. Thank you!
