Now that I’m on a road to recovery from this surgical disaster I feel it’s important for people to know about my experience before choosing this doctor. I was referred to him by my GI doctor for a 7-8 mm lesion. I go to my appointment to see doctor Santiago before the surgery and we spoke for about 2 minutes. Surprisingly he did not do an exam which I was a little confused and surprised. Mind you he was almost 2 hours late to my appointment. I go in for my surgery, I’m wheeled into recovery and shortly thereafter I go into afib. I ended up being admitted overnight. Doctor Santiago signs me out the next morning to clear me to go home without making an attempt to drop by my room to say hello and I’m free to go home.
