Hale Transformative Med building has all services I need (MRI, infusion, blood draw, etc) in one place, with parking and cafe! Can’t be beat!! Older 1* reviews are no longer relevant. There is valet or self park, with bottom 3 floors of underground garage for handicap. Excellent!
I saw that they replaced many (all?) the disability accessible parking spaces in the garage for this building with electric vehicle charging stations. No signs about where they may have hidden the accessible spaces. Whoever made this choice -- to change the spaces that have the access aisle next to them and that are close to the elevator entrance so people don't have to ride in a wheelchair (lower than many cars see coming around a corner) -- it was a very bad choice.
When I arrived great guy answered my questions. In the hospital I was told I could get validation for 50% discount. Not true. When we went to leave red truck was parked across the gold diagonal lines of the handicapped spaces next to us. Guard on duty was patronizing and immature and did not help resolve the issue. I tried to call to explain he needed more Training and parking phone number tells you to go to office NOT HELPFUL. I have had good attendants but this guy ruined my day!!! Expensive but limited options for parking. Trying times and it’s only parking but after 5 hours at the hospital I would have appreciated more mature support.
They use incredibly unsafe practices in their lab and put up fake safety numbers for you to call if you feel unsafe. But if you call the numbers or email the email you'll find (like I did) they are all dead ends. I would not use the lab here if you value your own health and safety. There is no system in place at all to check on unsafe practices.
The building is beautiful and modern. It's wonderful the MS Clinic has been relocated here. The staff in the garage are both incredibly friendly and helpful. 60 Fenwood is much easier to go to than the main BWH building (75 Francis).
