I cannot speak to the doctors or medical professionals at this office. However, my experience with the scheduling staff was concerning. This was the fourth office I contacted that morning to arrange an appointment, and the individual who answered the phone was immediately defensive and unprofessional in tone. This stood in stark contrast to the other offices I spoke with that day. After confirming details with my PCP, I called back and reached the same person. During that call, personal health information was stated before my identity was verified, which raised concerns about privacy practices. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, as front-office interactions and privacy standards are an important part of the overall patient experience.

Stephanie at the Front Desk at Brigham Dermitology Associates in Chestnut Hill is efficient, professional, listens to your concerns and has a heart of gold! She goes above and beyond to do her job and help patients to make things happen! The world needs more people like her! Top notch Employee!! Excellent!!

Don't know what others are talking about but front desk was very polite and professional both on the phone and in person a couple of weeks ago. Maybe staffing changes have taken place. Doctor was very knowledgeable and courteous taking his time to thoroughly examine me and explaining each step as we went along. Also made accommodations to his schedule for my follow up appointment. Yes the building appears old, but had an interesting aged vibe, but rooms were clean and redone.

The doctors are incredible here and I have incredibly pleased by the service. However the receptionist or whoever answers the phones is incredibly rude, impatient and unpleasant to speak to. I work in healthcare at MGH where answering phone calls from patients is part of the job and if someone in our department answered the phones like that, they would be let go. Again the physicians are great but the last few times I have called to make an appt I have been yelled at suddenly for not having good phone service after warning her that I might not and then it took way too long to work together to find a date that I wasn’t working to get an appt. It made me feel like she hoped I would give up on making an appointment. It just doesn’t seem like this person should be answering phones.

Doctors are okay, but service is terrible. At my first appointment (Chestnut Hill location) I waited for over an hour. Others who arrived after me were seen first, and after I reminded the reception & nurses they provided no real explanation. It seems they just forgot. My second appointment after a referral, which was scheduled at the Fish Center for Women’s Health, was cancelled after I had already arrived at the center, apparently the doctor no longer had time. Really disappointing, and an absolute waste of money and time getting there.
