Two stars because all of the medical professionals were kind, knowledgeable and attentive. Truly lovely nurses, PA, NP, resident, and attending. HOWEVER, their ER process is dehumanizing and makes you feel like a herded animal. They have a tiered process of waiting rooms—the public one and then a sketchy one in a a nasty hallway. When I finally got onto a cot after 6hrs of various UNCOMFORTABLE* waiting rooms, they put me against the nurses station. No curtain, no privacy, needed to discuss my private issues in front of every person in the hallway, nurses station, and whomever was strolling by. (Let's just say it wasn't something like a twisted ankle, or a respiratory virus, but something that should be kept private.) They may be a top-rated hospital for specific specialties, like obstet

love love love this hospital. I live 30+ min away, and I am more than willing to drive the distance for the care I receive here. The nurses, doctors, socials workers all are operating on another level. treatment is key, but kindness and compassion are also elements that they excel in. we are Lucky to have this hospital and these healthcare workers in our city. (Also, hats off to the cafeteria. Not gonna lie; the food and options there are pretty good. Other hospitals take note)

A huge thank-you to the Brigham maternity team for your professionalism and compassionate care! My son was born here about two months ago — it was our first delivery. Since we’re from Russia and had prepared ourselves for the kind of rudeness and negligence often associated with childbirth there, we were amazed to see how positive and respectful the experience can actually be. I noticed so many good things at every stage — we were supported through labor, delivery, and postpartum care; my wife was listened to attentively; and the meals afterward were great. The doctors not only showed high professionalism but were genuinely kind and caring throughout. If we decide to have a second child, we’ll definitely welcome them into the world at Brigham again! P.S. I do have one suggestion for imp

I literally can't schedule a surgery. I had an initial screening with a doctor which went well, but when it came time to schedule the surgery I called their surgery scheduling department 3x a day for a week. No answer. I left messages, no call back. Don't waste your time here.

When a doctor knows that an operation isn't going to work because someone's heart is to weak, but does it anyway, that's irresponsible and unprofessional. Doctors can't be trusted. It's supposed to be a well known Hospital in Boston. Doctors are good. Nurses need to be a little more attentive to patients. It was hot in the room my wife was in. The air conditioning wasn't working and it was in the 90's outside. My wife was getting sores because she was sweating so much. You would think patient care was much more important. A little more compassion would work. Nursing needs more training. This review is based on experience on floor 11D.
