Boston Common Podiatry

I've had plantar fasciitis for almost a year at this point and my experience with this clinic has been frankly awful. They kept on recommending custom orthotics which were always made incorrectly and never fixed the foot pain. Then, after the pain got worse, the doctor recommended just using my HSA to pay for an even more expensive shockwave treatment to get rid of scar tissue, and admitted it could take multiple treatments for it to work. The doctor couldn't understand why I'd been frustrated with how my treatment got dragged out, maybe they just expect a blank check and patients to be willing to wait for a year for recovery time.

10/10 recommend Dr Szpiro. Over the last 5 years, I have visited a number of other doctors and tried a variety of treatments (laser, chemical, hot cauterization etc) with no progress. Dr Szpiro recommended SWIFT, and my issue was completely resolved in 3 treatments. She and her staff are professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Thank you BCP!

10/10 recommend Dr Kurtz, she handled my situation very professionally and in a timely manner. After having a failed surgery by a previous Dr and spending 10 months in pain every single day, she was able to get to the bottom of the problem at my first appointment rather then patching it with pain meds. My husband and I drove almost 2 hours to be seen by her and it was well worth it for the outcome I have!

I am writing to share my positive experience at Boston Common Podiatry. I recently had my first appointment there, and Dr Szpiro and her medical assistant were wonderful. All my concerns and questions were answered. I would highly recommend Boston Common Podiatry.

The doctors and staff are exceptional, kind, and knowledgeable. They really listened to my issue and were thorough with their responses to my questions. Great results. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
