Dr. Itoh is an outstanding surgeon, caring person, and effective communicator. Over multiple meetings with him to discuss my surgical options and their pro's and con's, he was generous with his time, always listened to my concerns, and was effective in answering my questions. More importantly, during my hospitalization and post-op period, he showed genuine caring about me and how I was doing in recovery. I had complete confidence in his skills as a surgeon, but I was even more impressed by his genuineness and humanity as a healthcare professional. I cannot recommend him more highly!

Dr. Itoh is phenomenal! From the moment we discussed the surgery till the full recovery, he and his fantastic team were outstanding, caring and top professional. I felt the difference in just 3 weeks. I was able to walk for 3 miles without any problems. During the tough post operative in-patient stay during the first week, the entire team was 24/7 taking a very good care of me around the clock. I can’t thank him enough for his top notch surgical care and his fantastic team as well.

I was in for a very critical emergency and everybody in Cardiac Surgery was top class. I am so thankful for Dr. Itoh's and his team's expertise and outstanding care. Dr.Itoh is highly skilled in heart surgery and has a warm and gental bedside manner. He explained every process to me until I understood what was going to happen. Brigham & Women’s hospital was clean and the staff was so supportive. This was my second ohs and I recently lost my Brother to a massive heart attack.
