I was diagnosed with a rare congenital disorder called (FAVA) which is short for Fibro-Adipose Vascular Anomaly. About 7 years ago Dr. Alomari, preformed an embolization of my left calf. I am about to go in for another surgery this year as I will continue to do so every 5-10 years. I am excited to go back under the unfortunate circumstances because of the miracle he preformed last time. I fully trust his ability as he is defiantly at the top of my list for most respected doctors. I was only about 10 years old when I had the procedure done and he very calmly explained to me about the disorder that I have and how he would proceed with the surgery in a way that such a 10 year old would understand, which made me very grateful. Have been a patient of Dr. Alomari's for more than 10 years. He is without a doubt one of the greatest doctors whom I have seen. I have seen doctors who are highly knowledgeable, and doctors who have great bedside manner, but I have never had any who are highly knowledgeable, can take that knowledge and put it in terms the patient can understand, and have incredible bedside manner like Dr. Alomari. If he ever reads this, hope he know I am thankful.
