AFC Urgent Care Torrington

I love this place. From the minute I walked in I was treated professionally, quickly and with respect. Do yourself a favor and come here if you are sick or hurt. You will feel better not only physically but mentally too. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

I took my grandson in And the staff was very friendly and kind and patient. The nurse And the doctor were both great as was the woman at the front desk. We got seen quickly and left with very understandable instructions. I would absolutely go there again

The staff at AFC Urgent Care were phenomenal. They were very helpful and patient with my elderly aunt. In, particular, Tammy and another MA (I forget her name). Also, the NP, Mary, who was cautious and thorough. I appreciate the great care!

This facility is lovely and the staff are amazing, but AFC does not prescribe pain medication, so I basically paid for a visit for no reason. Went in for a broken rib or severely strained muscle in my chest. I was in excruciating pain and could barely breathe. The practice could not prescribe me medication to treat it, because they just do not treat pain at AFC. It's very disheartening that a facility would just stop treating pain instead of utilizing the guidelines laid out by the CDC. Please don't use AFC if you are suffering from anything causing pain. You will not receive treatment for your pain at this practice. Again, I would like to stress that the staff here have done nothing wrong. This is a problem with the facility. The doctor was lovely and even wrote me a script for two pills

Horrible experience with the doctor, who seemed more interested in moving on to the next patient than taking care of my wife and me. We had similar symptoms, though my wife’s were worse, and we were seen together. When the doctor entered, my wife was in the middle of a violent coughing spell because she was overheated and asked if the door could be opened. The doctor said it could only be cracked, so my wife’s had to go outside to cool off. This appeared to annoy the doctor, who rushed through my exam and said I had a cold and there wasn’t anything she could do except prescribe some cough medicine. Meanwhile, the exceptionally pleasant and professional nurse had gone to check on my wife. I asked the doctor if she would wait for her and she replied she had to move on. She left me in the exa
