Yorktown Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

I guess my rating got took down. This is a terrible facility with no ethics or knowledge about healthcare laws and regulations. Just know that unlicensed people will have a say so in patient care decision making. Saddest things I ever seen happened here. And I will keep leaving my review no matter how many times it is taken down.

Hands down the best nursing and rehab facility I have come across. Both my parents and several relatives have been patients in different facilities, but this one stands above, by a lot! The compassion, kindness, care and dignity that was given my father by staff is commendable. And a complete remodel of the entire facility is a plus plus!

Take a good look before you put your loved one here. It is disgustingly old and dirty. Floors, walls, dirty, wallpaper pealing. Even visitor bathroom not very appealing. It’s already depressing for someone to be there, a happy clean environment would be nice. VHS movies. Really!! They don’t even make them anymore. Look before you leap. 4/24 Wanted to update my previous review. The facility has done a great job of remodeling. It is not the same facility I visited months ago. Place looks great. Clean, painted and updated. Staff seems friendlier as well. Wonderful improvement.

The building is in need of a completed remodel. The windows leak . Mold and dampness. Rooms are not clean. Would not put any parent or family member in this dump. The patient s are not giving the services that are paid for by Medicaid. Such as dental work. Medical. If a patient complains they are immediately sedated to keep them quiet. Head Nursing staff rude. Please if you really love your parent spouse or love one find a better place.

My Mother has been a resident here for over a year now. I have been a regular visitor every week since my Mom started living here. She has dementia and all of the staff members here have been patient and understanding about her disability. They all have treated her with kindness and she has never been taken care of better. I feel this has made a difference in her health as well as her attitude. I want to give special thanks to Lisa and Carol, Dianna, Serena and Nate. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such good care of my Mother. Thanks to everyone that is involved with her care.
