Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care Enfield

They treated me today for a finger fracture and they were amazing! Even though the x-ray technician was literally 10 minutes from clocking out for the day she stayed to do my imaging. I kept apologizing for holding her up but she kept a smile on her face and reassured me that she was happy to do it. The receptionist was phenomenal as well as the PA I saw. Even the medical assistant was a pleasure to chat with! I utilize a service dog that's still in training and they were extremely accommodating of her which is such a big deal to me and a breath of fresh air. If you're disabled or utilize a service animal you know how hard it is and how frequently you are uncomfortable or made to feel like accommodations are a bother to everyone (if you're lucky enough to even get them). Yale has always listened and taken good care of me both virtually and In person. The med assistant took me in tested me for covid and flu and by the time I saw the Dr I got my results it was just a bad cold. The Dr prescribed cough medicine and ibuprofen.They help in any way that they can especially when there were a lot of people that needed to be seen. I finally was able to get some rest since I haven't slept well since the night before Christmas. I definitely would recommend this place.

This place has changed so much since I was last there before Yale bought it. The front desk was great, super patient in finding my multiple charts in the system from prior people saving my name wrong. She was visibly overworked and yet kept a calm demeanor and was pleasant to work with. The initial nurse who brings you in was super sweet. Initially started off clearly exhausted but then cheered up. She was significantly more attentive than the PA Brian who came almost 20 minutes after and was unbelievably short and rushed. He was cold. He used medical jargon and assumed I should know what he is talking about. He barely asked any questions about my symptoms that I made clear were significantly impacting me so much so that I AVOID going the to doctors office and felt forced to come in becaus

Arrived shortly before closing ( 730pm). I was the only one there. I felt bad because I am sure the staff wanted to leave on time. I had cut my finger and needed stitches. EVERYONE was fabulous. Check in was smooth, receptionist was very friendly and helpful, MA and PA were terrific. I have been coming to this location for years even when it was a different name. I usually would register on line first but did not this time but it turned out it didn’t matter.

I have been to this clinic before and had a good experience. Today was a horrible experience. I had an 11 o'clock appointment two walk-ins went in before me. I didn't get Out of there for an hour and a half. I went because my wrist was swollen and extremely painful. The PA Brian came in and said he would put a brace on it. He didn't offer any x-rays. I had to ask him to do an x-ray he spent maybe three minutes with me and it was as lazy as he possibly could be. I'm not sure if it was just him or this place has gone completely downhill.
