No insurance. Went to ER for dental abscess. returned to this dentist who took a bite down xray and said nothing was there and that the hospital was wrong that they had to take medicaid after ER declared a root canal/ pull a medical necessity. This past year the same spot has swollen and went away again multiple times but as a single mother I have to live paycheck to paycheck. Called and explained what's going on, swelling isn't going away this time, worried about a stroke (doesn't help that I work with someone who had a stroke due to dental abscess- and then brain surgery and forever changed), I've always paid my bill there-0 balance. Today I had an appointment for a filling. My babysitter cancelled last minute on me, so it was too late to reschedule and I had to bring my 3 year old and my 11 month old. What a nightmare, right? But I want to share my full appreciation for how patient, caring, and helpful the whole staff was to me and my children. They went above and beyond to help with my crying baby while I was indisposed in the chair. Tina carried her around the office until I was done, which is above and beyond her job description I'm sure. I was so embarrassed, but they were just so great and I cannot thank them enough!

I am well acquainted to dentists even having a nickname given me by my high school dentist and I am 83 years old now! Always being nervous going to the dentist until we moved to Smyrna some 22 years ago, but now have no fear or nervousness at all. Dr. Wisk is so gentle and deliberate in his care and listens to any problems I might have giving me his expert advise on the way to proceed.
