Very comfortable waiting room. Mr Ellis is friendly and thorough. He explained all my options and then proceeded with the choices we agreed on. I would recommend going here to anyone.

There are not enough words to describe Dr. Ellis and the staff,at Wintergreen Medical. I was new to this area and needed a primary care physician. I was referred there by another physician that I was seeing and have been a patient since that day, almost 10 years ago! From sweet Adriana,at the front desk,to all of the nurses and Dr. Ellis, I have never had a bad experience. They are all so kind and will go out of their way if you ever need anything,and each time I have to visit it has always been a pleasant experience. Dr. Ellis is by far one of the best physicians that I have ever been treated by. He is so nice and makes you feel as though he has known you forever, and that is from day one. The front staff and nurses have always been so nice. Dr. Ellis is awesome. He makes you feel like family and will literally listen to any concern you have and not brush it off. I have tried a few local drs before but I knew immediately Wintergreen Primary would be the best fit for me. Don't believe all the bad reviews, Dr Ellis is running a great practice!

Dr Ellis and his entire office is a JOKE! The front desk receptionist was extremely rude, and don’t even get me started on the nurse that came in. My mama went in for extremely high blood pressure, heart rate, and was so short of breath she couldn’t walk to the chair without giving out. He done absolutely nothing for her. Told her to go home she was fine. Obviously she wasn’t. I took her straight to the ER where they immediately admitted her and she stayed for 3 1/2 days. To find out she has horrible COPD, her diabetes is out of control (he knew she has diabetes and has never not once checked her sugar), along with a few other problems. She went for a follow up appointment last week with Dr Ellis and he refused to refer her out to a pulmonologist but did say he was going to refer her to an

In my 35 years as an Emergency/Trauma nurse with Med-Surg/Neuro/Hospice experiences added to the mix, I feel like I know a good practitioner when I deal with one. Mr. Ellis at Wintergreen Medical has my utmost respect and I would recommend him to anyone needing a primary practitioner. He has years of experience, he's gracious and he never makes you feel stupid or not believed. We even disagree on things and he teaches me in a polite respectful way and he hasn't been wrong yet! I can't thank him enough for finally after years of seeing many GP's and specialists for a long term problem and finally got it right and sending me to the right specialist. I can't thank him enough. I've been on this train for years..... I finally am optimistic that it's not a train at the end of the tunnel...
