Willow Point Nursing Home

The rehab part of the willow point is nice and clean and most of the staff there is very caring, cheerful, and supportive. The nursing side on the other hand is filthy, Corridors and resident bathrooms are always smelling. Social workers are rude and Uncooperative. Aides are nice, nurses, not so much.

Our dear Mom is in the Dementia Unit. We have been so very grateful for the excellent care she has received these past two years. Mom has adopted them as her family and is very much at peace. This is very important when you have a parent who needs safety in their surroundings during the process of losing their memory and ultimately their lives. The staff is very patient, loving, fun and trustworthy. We have peace knowing she is being cared for and hearing that she enjoys the many activities that are available to her. Thank you so very much. The care is quality, the staff are caring and helpful. My mother has been there on three different occasions for short-term rehab and we have had no complaints. They're top of the line on physical therapy. This is a good place to consider when you need this level of care.

My great uncle is a resident and has been for a little over a year. I live more than 400 miles away and the staff stays in touch with me very often. On my visits there, I have observed a very caring staff. My uncle seems to be very happy there.

The wirst nursing facility my husband was at. It was two years ago and the doctor wanted to 'help my husband die peacefully!" He said his quality of life was very poor and he was at end stage renal failure. I had to ask why he couldn't try dialysis. Doctor git angry at me because I woukdnwo agree to let him "go peacefully." Two years later and he is happy and on dialysis. Go with your gut. Just because someone is a doctor, never let them take over God's role.
